Kate Settle was raised in McKinney, Texas and is a Texas Tech University alumna, completing both her Bachelor of History and Political Science and her Doctorate of Jurisprudence degrees at the university.

Kate is dedicated to guiding individuals through some of life’s most personal and difficult transitions. With a focus on divorce, custody, and other family-related matters, she offers clients not only legal expertise but also empathy, clarity, and strong advocacy.

Each case is approached with care and attention, recognizing that no two families or situations are alike. Kate takes the time to listen, understand each client’s goals, and develop strategies tailored to their unique needs. Her approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and a steadfast commitment to helping clients protect what matters most.

Hobbies & Fun Facts

In her down time, Kate loves getting lost in a good book or doing something creative. She enjoys painting, embroidery, and creating jewelry. She is currently learning how to crochet.

Kate competed on two national mock trial teams while in law school. In 2024, she competed in the Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial Competition in Arlington, Virgina. While not competing, she was able to visit the Lincon Memorial as well as the Washington Monument. In 2025, she competed in the Shark Beach Showdown Mock Trial Competition, hosted by Nova Southeastern University, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Kate was involved in her school’s theatre and musical theatre programs throughout middle school and high school. Kate is a first-generation college and law student.
