Get to Know Brett
Brett Harris is the Information Technology & Media Specialist for Matthew Harris Law. Born in East Texas in a military family, he lived in Tennessee and California before making it back to Texas. He ultimately graduated from Coronado High School with Honors.
Mr. Harris joined Matthew Harris Law in 2020, and since then has grown the Firm’s YouTube Channel from 25 subscribers to now over 65,000. He also produces the Firm’s commercials, radio ads, and other multimedia projects within the Firm. He has been instrumental in expanding the use of technology in ways that no other Firm has considered which has helped to win more cases.
Because few attorneys have their own in-house IT & Media Specialist, Mr. Harris is a force-multiplier for every Division at Matthew Harris Law. He has been able to directly help clients, paralegals, and attorneys with any technical issues that arise and to teach them new programs that help them maximize their time.

Hobbies & Fun Facts
When he’s not doing IT Work or working on Socials, he’s managing tournaments for the Local Fighting Game Community in not only Lubbock, but also throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. He has even traveled to Austin to help volunteer in Low Tide City 2024. He’s also collaborated with the Lubbock Matadors to help bring the FGC to a new crowd that have an interest in both Soccer and Fighting Games.
Brett is also a huge College Football fan, supporting the Texas Tech Red Raiders since he was 6 years old.
Brett married his High School sweetheart in 2024, and they have the most adorable cat you’ve ever seen.
