Caroline Ford grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and Frisco, Texas. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Stephen F. Austin State University before completing her Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Texas Tech University School of Law.

Caroline originally joined Matthew Harris Law in July of 2025 as a summer associate, before returning in January of 2025 as a law clerk and recently joined the firm as a Family Law Attorney. She gained invaluable experience in Family Law during her law school career as a Mediator for the Lubbock County Office of Dispute Resolution. Mrs. Ford is known for her diligence, attention to detail, and desire to always learn more. You can trust that your family is in good hands with Mrs. Ford advocating for you in and out of the courtroom.

During her time at Texas Tech School of Law, Caroline served on numerous mock trial national teams, helped coach younger law students on developing advocacy skills as a member of the Board of Barristers, and published a Comment on copyright dilution in the Texas Tech Law Review.

    Hobbies & Fun Facts

    Before moving to Texas, Caroline grew up on the beaches of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and Valencia, California, and still loves the beach and swimming (despite living far away from the water now).

    Caroline enjoys reading, relaxing with her family, and endless games of fetch with her dog, Teddy. She loves traveling, having been to several states within the U.S. as well as several countries with her family and husband. Caroline is always willing to try new experiences and adventures, recently learning how to ski and sew up dog toys.

    Caroline met her husband, Hunter, during their undergraduate careers at Stephen F. Austin State University and moved out to Lubbock together in 2022 to continue their education at Texas Tech. They have been married since June of 2024, are proud pet parents to their very enthusiastic goldendoodle, Teddy Bear, and soon-to-be parents of a son coming November 2025.
